Ballerina Bear

Wow, I have really neglected this blog.

Thought I'd show you a little ballerina bear I have in my shop Billy Angel located at Kurwongbah (just north of Petrie) at the moment. She's made by my friend Julie and has the sweetest little tutu made out of vintage netting.

I'd love you to come visit and say hi. I'm located at Old Petrie Town, Dayboro Rd, Kurwongbah. Sunday's the best day, with lots of market stalls as well as shops (mine being one of them)located in such a beautifull lush country setting with old world buildings.

Recent Past

I used to paint......alot. Canvasses, glassware, wood, furniture, children's tops, cushions, pots. Just about anything I could get my hands on I painted and sold at markets.
Most things I paintd I never took photos of, but here are two children's paintings I did manage to capture.

Beautiful Bella

I have just listed this hanging name cushion on Made It for anyone who prefers to purchase in Australian Dollars.
You can find it here.

The colour of the cushion is much prettier in real life than how it came out in the images. The fabric is a really pretty pink and blue.

Till next time.

Madison Wall Cushion

Hi Everyone!

I have bitten the bullet and started using fabric quite a bit brighter than I normally use. I love the colours in this Moda fabric.

If you're looking for a cute and original gift for the little girl in your life, I am always happy to do cutom orders.

You can view this cushion in my Etsy store here.

Till next time.

More Cushions for Little Girls

I love what I do....to be surrounded by pretty things day and night. And being able to create as well.

I have been busy sewing, embroidering and attaching teeny tiny little sequins to my little hanging name cushions. I have listed one in my Made It store here to purchase in AUD and my Etsy store here to purchase in USD.

I will attempt to list more in the next week, plus I'm making more for my return to the Boutique Markets at Portside in Hamilton on Sunday the 13th of June. I can't wait.

Have a great night.

Scrappy Hair Clips

I have been trying something new and exciting....hair accessories for girls.
I really enjoyed making these. I've cut each individual petal out, then stitched them together at the center, scrunched them up a bit, and used a fabric stifferner to hold their shape. I've glued seed beads to the centres to add a bit of sparkle.
I have just listed these hair clip sets in my Etsy shop. (link to my shop on the right)
